Kolhapur proudly constitutes some of the most active clubs in RID 3170.

Rotary District 3170 comprises Kolhapur, Sangli, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg districts of Maharashtra State. Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Bijapur, Bagalkot, Belgaum and North Karnataka districts of Karnataka State and entire Goa State.





It is located in the western part of India and is the third largest state of the country. It has a rich history  and is country's biggest  commercial and industrial centres.

Kolhapur : It is a city of diverse culture, historical monuments, forts and temples and a variety of traditional veg and non- veg cuisine to relish.

The famous Mahalaxmi Temple, Panhala Fort, New Palace, Rankala Lake, Shivaji University are some of the tourist attractions. The Siddhagiri Math is a Sculpture Museum showcasing the self sufficient village life. Traditional jewellery includes Kolhapuri Saaj, Thushi, Nath and Choker. Kolhapuri cuisine includes Misal Pav, Nonveg Tambda Pandhra Rassa, Mutton Lonche .
